Campaign for Re-Election

It seems like yesterday that we held a celebration of my successful Metro Council campaign for District 31. The last three years have been extremely gratifying to me and my family as we worked to fulfill our commitments to the community.

I have worked hard in supporting and building a more cohesive community - one that works together, plays together and builds for the future together.

Three years ago I said that you could count on me to focus on the things that mean the most to you and your families:

Safer neighborhoods
Better schools
More recreational facilities
Higher property values
A greater place to do business
An inclusive community

With your help we have come a long way towards making this happen. We have successfully added classrooms and improved our local schools, supported our local police department, added a brand new greenway and park and library, community center and ice rink to our area. We preserved green spaces, supported community incentives and provided a welcoming environment for local businesses big and small. We were able to create infrastructure improvements like re-paving, storm water, etc. We worked hard to maintain a community where everybody counts.

I stuck to my promise of no new development without you being part of the conversation and the process.

Today, I am announcing my campaign for re-election as your Metro Councilman. I believe that there is more work to be done in our District and for the greater Nashville area. I hope you will support my campaign to represent you for four more years. Let’s continue to make District 31 an even better place to live.

If you are interested in helping the campaign please contact, Alma Sanford at her number is (615) 828-5470.

Thank you
